Knowing the learners in our classroom is extremely important if we are to meet the needs of all of our students. Given that the new school year was upon us, I felt that it was important that teachers had as much information (about the students in their classroom) as possible.

I, therefore, collected student information and (along with my school guidance counselors) presented this information in class meetings (the focus of which was on students receiving Pathways support).  These meetings were held for about an hour each afternoon over a three day period.  Hopefully, these information sharing sessions will help teachers meet the needs of the learners in their classrooms.
